To honor the death of Pulitzer Prize Award-winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein, the lights of Broadway will be dimmed on January 31st. All Broadway theatres will dim their marquees for one minute at 8 PM on that date.

Wasserstein passed away at age 55 from complications of lymphoma. Her plays include Third (her most recent), The Sisters Rosensweig, An American Daughter, Uncommon Women and Others and The Heidi Chronicles, for which she received the Pulitzer Prize, the Tony and other awards.
