Longtime pals Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore will hold Broadway Barks 7 in Shubert Alley on July 30th.

Peters, who found her dogs Kramer and Stella at animal shelters and co-founded
Broadway Barks with Moore, was optimistic about the success of this year's
Barks. "Over 300 animals have been adopted through the
Broadway Barks
events, and we're hoping that through this new partnership with the
Mayor's Alliance, we will be able to double that number." The Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals, Inc. deals with issues of animal care and control, and brings together numerous not-for-profit animal care groups.
Broadway Barks 7 will be produced by
Richard Hester,
Maureen Moore, Patty Saccente and
Scott T. Stevens.
Shubert Alley is located between 44th and 45th Streets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue.
