Nate Lombardi and his team from The Groovy Projects, along with Bryan Campione (@broadway_buzz) have teamed up to present a special set of Saturday Intermission Pictures #SIP to help children and kids become empowered through an anti-bullying photo campaign today, January 25, 2014.
Performers and industry professionals from across Broadway and Off-Broadway have been asked to share with kids on a global scale personal insecurities through the #YNAC (You're Not Alone Campaign). Every person has had insecurities and growing pains. While some of these still linger, people will one day persevere and learn to love their individuality with positivity from those around them.
With Photos and Statements on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, people will be able to find Broadway's Best, but also participate themselves in this exciting endeavor.
How To Get Involved:
1 Follow "The Groovy Projects" on Twitter, Facebook and/or Instagram.
2 Take a selfie that reflects strength, vulnerability or triumph. Be Creative! 3 In one brave sentence, pick an issue that you had growing up or still battle with; something that really gets to you or an insecurity or weakness. (For Example. "I've always battled with my weight." "I lost my hair in middle school." "I skipped school cause of a bully." "I always felt different than other kids.", etc.)Here are some ideas for additional recommended hashtags!
