Kathy Bates last appeared on Broadway in 'NIGHT, MOTHER, which earned her a Tony nomination in 1983. Among her other Broadway credits are COME BACK TO THE 5 & DIME JIMMY DEAN, JIMMY DEAN, FIFTH OF JULY and GOODBYE FIDEL. The actress has also taken the stage in THE ROAD TO MECCA, FRANKIE AND JOHNNY IN THE CLAIR DE LUNE, CURSE OF THE STARVING CLASS and more. More recently, Emmy-winner Bates has appeared in Ryan Murphy's anthology series AMERICAN HORROR STORY, as well as the TV shows HARRY'S LAW and TWO AND A HALF MEN. She won an Oscar for MISERY in 1990 and was nominated in 1998 for PRIMARY COLORS and in 2002 for ABOUT SCHMIDT. Among her other film credits are FRIED GREEN TOMATOES, DOLORES CLAIBORNE and TITANIC.
