Brinberg, with Cavenaugh, Performs at Any Wednesday, 5/9

After last week's performance by Karen Akers, Any Wednesday continues its celebration of cabaret/theater divas on May 9 with Steven Brinberg.
"For those of you who have not had the pleasure of seeing Steven's amazing vocal transformation into one of the great musical divas of all time, this is your chance as he becomes Simply Barbra. His new recording, the 'Duet Album,' pairs Steven with some of the best cabaret artists in original arrangements on a variety of theater and film songs. Joining Steven will be the very handsome Broadway star Matt Cavenaugh," state press notes.
Any Wednesdasy celebrates the best in jazz, cabaret and theater performers in the spacious third floor events space at the Lincoln Square Barnes & Noble at 66th and Broadway in New York City. Each performance begins at 6:00 p.m., lasts approximately a half hour and is followed by a signing/meet-and-greet session with the artists. As always, the events remain free and open to all.
