Brian Charles Rooney Performs at the Zipper, April 30

Brian Charles Rooney, who played Lucy Brown in last year's revival of The Threepenny Opera, will perform his one-man show at the Zipper Theatre on Monday, April 30, 2007 at 8PM. 

Rooney, who possesses a 4-octave range, will sing a variety of songs.  He will also reprise parts of his performance as Lucy Brown.

Rooney has appeared in a European tour of West Side Story, and was a featured soloist in the tour of The Music of Andrew Lloyd WebberHis Off-Broadway credits include Twist, The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde (at NYMF), Pure Heaven: The Music of Kay Thompson, and The Taxi Cabaret.  Regionally, he has been seen in Forever Plaid, Floyd Collins, Bat Boy, The Student Prince and Evita.
