Brian Babylon Announces Debut Comedy Album And NYC Shows

Brian Babylon, heard nationwide on NPR's Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me released his debut full-length comedy album Babylon Ball Z on September 28th with Blonde Medicine. Brian will support the release with dates spanning the US in September and October. He'll be in Chicago for his album's official release party before heading east to New York for a string of dates in the first half of October. Brian Babylon is a Chicago-born comic and radio host. The self-proclaimed "Prince of Bronzeville" is a fixture in Chicago's rich comedy community. He hosted and produced The Morning AMP radio show on Vocalo 91.1 FM, a sister station of WBEZ / Chicago Public Radio. Babylon has also been making a name for himself outside of Chicago. In 2009 he was a finalist in the New York Comedy Contest, and in 2012 he appeared in the Comedy Central South Beach Comedy Festival.

Moving to Los Angeles he joined the production team for the Comedy Central show Why? with Hannibal Buress. He is a fan favorite on the popular NPR weekly news quiz show Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!, contributes to BBC Radio, has hosted The Moth StorySLAM in Chicago, and appears on season 3 of Inside Amy Schumer on Comedy Central. Despite being a mainstay in the Chicago comedy scene for more than a decade and touring the U.S. as a headliner and alongside collaborators like Hannibal Buress, Babylon Ball Z is Brian's eagerly-awaited debut album.
