On Monday, October 5, Broadway's Tony Award-winning hit musical CHICAGO welcomed back Broadway favorite Brent Barrett as Billy Flynn. Barrett had been scheduled to resurrect his performance for an eight-week return engagement through Sunday, November 29. Barrett's participation will now be extended through March 27, 2010.
In CHICAGO, Barrett is joined by Bonnie Langford as Roxie Hart, Deidre Goodwin as Velma Kelly, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and Kecia Lewis-Evans as Matron "Mama" Morton.
Brent Barrett is no stranger to the stages of Broadway, the West End, concert halls, recording studios and television. Most recently, he starred as the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular at The Venetian Hotel and Casino.He received an Olivier Award nomination for his starring role in the London premiere of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate. His acclaimed performance was recorded for broadcast on PBS and is available on DVD.
