This just in! HAMILTON producer Jeffrey Seller announced that the Broadway production will double the number of $10 seats available for each performance at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St. in NYC) starting January 31, 2017.
On that date forty-six (46) seats per performance will be available through the daily digital lottery (https://lottery.broadwaydirect.com/show/hamilton/). For matinee performances, the lottery will be open for entries between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. For evening performances following matinees, entries can be made between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. On days with only an evening performance scheduled, entries can be made between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
The news was made public by members of the Hamilton cast during the company's appearance at BroadwayCon on Sunday, January 29. Producer Jeffrey Seller states, "With #EduHam and #Ham4Ham, we now sell 39,136 seats each year in NYC for $10; we will also sell 38,720 seats this year in Chicago for $10. I'm happy to report that Hamilton is, indeed, for everyone."
HAMILTON's #EduHam provides 20,000 seats for $10 annually to high school students in NYC through its partnership with The Rockefeller Foundation, NYC Department of Education and the Gilder Lehrman Institute for American History. As well, a similar education program will make $10 tickets available to 20,000 students in Chicago each year.

THE Hamilton MIXTAPE, a companion album to the Original Broadway Cast Recording with songs from the Broadway show remixed and reproduced by some of today's top artists, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. The mixtape features artists like Usher, Nas, Sia, and reunited Ashanti and Ja Rule.
HAMILTON: The Revolution, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jeremy McCarter's book about the making of the musical, is on sale and has been a selection on The New York Times Best Seller List.
The Chicago production of Hamilton opened on October 19. A touring production begins a 21-week run in San Francisco in March 2017, followed by a 21-week engagement in Los Angeles. A London production will also be mounted in 2017.
