The production of Lone Star Love, currently playing an engagement at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre, has canceled its Broadway engagement this fall. Lone Star Love will continue performances at The 5th Avenue Theatre through September 30th as scheduled, for a total of 11 previews and 15 regular performances. The production had been previously announced to open at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street) on Monday, December 3rd. Upcoming plans for the production will be announced when they are available.

Lone Star Love is inspired by Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor transplanted to the Wild West shortly after the Civil War. Directed and choreographed by
Randy Skinner, the musical is conceived by
John L. Haber, with a book by
Robert Horn and Haber and a foot-stomping score by Red Clay Rambler
Jack Herrick.
