Brazilian Culture Festivals Set for SUMMERSTAGE 2013

Two major Brazilian culture festivals will host their biggest events of the season at SummerStage in Central Park: The 11th Brazilian Film Festival of NY and Brasil SummerFest.
The 11th Brazilian Film Festival of NY will include a performance by Brazilian pop and MPB sensation (and daughter of Gilberto)Preta Gil and the US premiere of the new animated film Rio 2096: A Story of Love and Fury. Brasil SummerFest, in conjunction with SummerStage's "This Is Hip-Hop" 40th anniversary celebration, will feature Hip-Hop supergroupPlanet Hemp, hot MC Emcida and technobrega queen Gaby Amarantos.
