For the first time, the curators of the popular Brain: The Inside Story exhibition are offering an intensive "Brain 101" master class to the general public. This exciting first offering in the Museum's new adult education series will begin with presentations about the latest neuroscience research by Rob DeSalle, curator in the Museum's Division of Invertebrate Zoology; Joy Hirsch, director of the Program for Imaging& Cognitive Sciences at Columbia University; and behavioral neuroscientist and psychoanalyst Maggie Zellner of The Rockefeller University. The adult education series will continue into 2011 with two courses: The Adult Brain: An Owner's Manual and Neuroscience and Child Development.
