Brad Garrett's Comedy Club Presents Don Barnhart

Beginning Aug 25-28th, Don Barnhart will be performing his award winning stand up comedy at Brad Garrett's Comedy Club at The MGM Grand In Las Vegas, NV.

Often compared to a young George Carlin, Barnhart combines well-written, topical material and delivers it with a fast paced, high energy and animated improvisational flair that keeps audiences of all ages howling with laughter and coming back for more. Don is one of the busiest comedians working today. He is an accomplished actor, writer and director with numerous television and film credits and is also a favorite headliner at the top comedy clubs across the country.

"What's really important is the headliners we have coming in are great and have been doing very well." Said Garrett in a recent interview. "Don is one of the funniest cats out there".

In July, Barnhart won the Make A Star Comedy Contest and earlier this year the grand prize in the Talentcall comedy competition earning him some cash along with a career meeting with Theo Von from "Deal With It" and in 2013 Barnhart won the Levity/Improv Best Comedian Award and was named "Best Bet" by the Las Vegas Review/Journal. He is in preproduction on a new feature film that he wrote and will star in called, Freeloader that is set to shoot in and around Las Vegas later this year.

Freeloader is the story of a returning Vet that ends up homeless on the streets of Vegas and becomes the Robin Hood of the disenfranchised. "I have to get in shape for the film", said Barnhart in a recent interview. He continued, "And I mean military shape. My wife is thrilled that I may actually have a six pac on my belly and not in the fridge."

Barnhart has been training with Professional MMA fighter Shawn Fitzsimmons who recently joined Barnhart's wife's Linda Vu's Self Defense Team overseas for the troops.

"My wife, Linda has been the biggest supporter of my shows and wanted to do something special for the troops and when the opportunity came up, she produced a women's self defense tour and went throughout Europe working with the women in the military", added Barnhart.

Barnhart has been entertaining and producing shows for the US Military around the world since 1992 and is a veteran performer for AFE, USO and Comics On Duty. He just completed a celebrity series bringing comedy legend George Wallace on one of his tours as well as sending over singer James Durbin from American Idol.

Barnhart stars in the comedy documentary Finding The Funny with Brad Garrett and Louie Anderson and has just published a new book on stand up called, Comedy 101. He is also a contributing author on, I Killed: True Stories of The Road by America's Top Comics.

Don Barnhart is one of the top comedy consultants in the country and his company Don Barnhart Entertainment is constantly working with up and coming as well as established comedians, comedy clubs and corporations. When Barnhart isn't onstage doing standup, he is also a certified hypnotist with a separate comedy hypnosis show.

Barnhart has had his own stand up and hypnosis shows in Las Vegas and in his free time teaches stand up at his studio in Vegas as well as over the Internet with Skype.
