Slick back that hair and put on those poodle skirts...Bowzer's Ultimate Doo-Wop Party is cruising into the Mid Hudson Civic Center on Friday, September 11th.

Jon "Bowzer" Bauman, the world's most famous gangly greaser in a muscle shirt and the best known member of Sha Na Na is the host for this Party. The deep-voiced, Bowzer starred with Sha Na Na in their hit TV show, as well as the classic movie musical Grease. Sha Na Na is still heard on oldies radio stations with hits such as "Blue Moon", "Rock & Roll is Here to Stay" and "At the Hop". Bowzer's Ultimate Doo-Wop Party cruises into the Hudson Valley with some of the best original doo wop groups ever to harmonize including:

Jay Siegel and the Tokens- This Brooklyn group hit the charts with "Tonight I Fell in Love", "Portrait of My Love" and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". The Tokens style and sound is elegantly defined by Jay Siegel whose tenor lead and trademark falsetto have characterized their music.

Shirley Alston Reeves - Co-founder and original lead vocalist for The Shirelles, Reeves will perform their all time favorites including "Tonight's The Night" (penned by Reeves), "Baby It's You", the soulful sounding "This Is Dedicated To The One I Love", "Foolish Little Girl", and, of course, the group's 5 million selling hit, "Soldier Boy".

Larry Chance and the Earls- Formed in The Bronx, by 1960 Larry Chance and the Earls had evolved into a potent, swinging ensemble that would have several hits including "Life Is But a Dream", "I Believe", "Never" and the unforgettable "Remember Then".

And introducing, Kid Kyle - A 14 year old Doo Wop singing sensation currently captivating audiences across the country with his unique talent and showmanship.
