Nominations for the 24th annual Elliot Norton Awards, recognizing excellence in Greater Boston theater, have been announced. The ceremony will be presented at 7:00 pm on Monday, May 22, at the Cutler Majestic Theatre (219 Tremont Street, Boston) with a reception to follow onstage.
Among those nominated (both in the Outstanding Solo Performance category) were Billy Crysal for
700 Sundays and
Jefferson Mays for
I Am My Own Wife. Theatre companies earning multiple nominations included
Lyric Stage Company,
Huntington Theatre Company and
American Repertory Theatre.
