Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is pleased to announce that Chris Mazzilli and Steve Mazzilli, owners of New York City's Gotham Comedy Club, will oversee programming for Borgata Comedy Club effective April 1st.

"Borgata Comedy Club has been a fundamental part of our programming since the resort's debut," said Michael Woodside, Vice President of Marketing for Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. "Chris and Steve's ability to attract the country's most sought-after comedic talent will further bolster the Club's reputation as Atlantic City's leading venue for nightly entertainment."

As partners of the renowned Gotham Comedy Club in Manhattan, New York City, Chris Mazzilli and Steve Mazzilli have over two decades of comedy experience, including working with superstars such as Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chappelle, Lewis Black, Gabriel Iglesias, Amy Schumer and Jim Gaffigan. Currently the Gotham Comedy Live! show is in its seventh season. Recent hosts have included Anthony Anderson from ABC's Blackish, Everybody Loves Raymond's Brad Garrett and legendary comic duo Cheech and Chong. Episodes currently air on AXS TV network.

"We are absolutely honored to be working with Borgata on programming for the Comedy Club," said Steve Mazzilli. "It's been an aspiration of ours to be a part of Borgata's entertainment programming since its inception almost 15 years ago," added Chris Mazzilli. "To follow in the footsteps of some great programmers is both humbling and exciting."

Borgata Comedy Club first originated in 2004 by Ray Garvey, a former NYPD officer and longtime funnyman from Brooklyn who learned the trade while managing the well-known Brooklyn Comedy Club Pips. Ray's wonderful demeanor and gregarious personality cultivated the club into one of the best known venues on the East Coast until his passing in 2010.

The Comedy Club offers nightly shows beginning at 9pm in The Music Box theatre. Tickets are available via theborgata.com or by visiting The Borgata Box Office.
