On March 1st and 2nd, award-winning writer and performer Eric Bogosian will take part in post-show talkbacks for hisplay Talk Radio, which will open at the Longacre Theatre on March 11th.
Tony Award-winner Liev Schreiber (Glengarry Glen Ross, Macbeth) plays Barry Champlain, the vituperative and mesmerizing radio host. He is joined by Peter Hermann ("Law & Order" and United 93), Michael Laurence, Stephanie March ("Law & Order: SVU" and Death Of A Salesman), and Sebastian Stan, as well as by Christine Pedi (Forbidden Broadway), Barbara Rosenblat (The Secret Garden), Marc Thompson, Adam Seitz and Cornell Womack.
Robert Falls, Tony-winning Director of 1999's Death Of A Salesman, whose other credits include Long Day's Journey Into Night and Shining City on Broadway, stages the production.Bogosian's work includes Wake Up and Smell the Coffee, SubUrbia, Pounding Nails in the Floor with my Forehead, Sex, Drugs, & Rock & Roll, and Drinking in America (Drama Desk Award). Talk Radio was a nominated finalist for the 1987 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. This is Bogosian's first play to be produced on Broadway. In addition, he has written screenplays for several motion pictures. His second novel was published last year.
