On Sunday, February 11th at 7 AM, Smooth Jazz CD 101.9's "Sunday's at 7 with Paul Cavalconte" will feature The Drowsy Chaperone's Tony Award-winning star and author Bob Martin.  They will be joined by vinyl expert and "Stereophile Magazine" editor Michael Femer to listen to the new vinyl record of the hit musical on the world's most expensive turntable – the $100,000 "Continuum Labs Caliburn" model.

The limited edition, vinyl album of the Grammy Award nominated original cast recording of the The Drowsy Chaperone will be released by Ghostlight Records on Valentine's Day, Wednesday, February 14. The re-mastered collector's item will mark the first time in nearly twenty years that an original Broadway cast recording will be released in album format.

In the musical, "a modern day musical theatre fan known simply as "Man in Chair" drops the needle on his favorite cast album – the 1928 musical comedy The Drowsy Chaperone. From the crackle of his hi-fi, the uproariously funny musical magically bursts to life on stage," state production notes.

Now, a limited edition, 13-track record recreates "Man in Chair"'s experience listening to his cherished cast album and features added scene dialogue, vintage cover artwork, Broadway production photographs, lyrics, liner notes and an included bonus CD of the vinyl record's content.

The Drowsy Chaperone limited edition, vinyl album will be available for $50.00 exclusively at the Marriott Marquis Theatre (1535 Broadway), on the Ghostlight Records and Drowsy Chaperone websites. Online advance orders are being taken now for delivery in time for Valentine's Day. A portion of the proceeds from the limited edition vinyl album will benefit The Actors' Fund of America, celebrating their 125th Anniversary this year.

The Drowsy Chaperone is directed and choreographed by Tony Award-nominee Casey Nicholaw (Spamalot), with music and lyrics by Tony Award-winners Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison and a book by Tony Award-winners Bob Martin and Don McKellar.

The original cast album of the show is produced by Grammy Award-winner and Academy Award-nominee Joel Moss, musical director Phil Reno and Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records President Kurt Deutsch
