Town Hall is presenting the final production of its Broadway By the Year 2006-7 series: Broadway By the Year: The Broadway Musicals of 1964, Part II, on Monday June 18 at 8 PM. Written and hosted by Scott Siegel, the evening will feature excerpts from shows including Hello, Dolly!, What Makes Sammy Run?, Funny Girl, Anyone Can Whistle, High Spirits, Fiddler on the Roof, Golden Boy, I Had a Ball and many more.

Performers scheduled for the evening include Stephanie J. Block (star of The Pirate Queen), Beth Leavel (Tony Award-winning star of The Drowsy Chaperone), and cabaret stars Liz Callaway (Broadway's Baby), MAC and Bistro Award-winner Scott Coulter, and Sean Martin Hingston (Broadway's Contact, and co-star alongside Bernadette Peters and Chita Rivera in concert).

Press notes state, "Scott Siegel created the Broadway by the Year series and the Broadway Cabaret Festival series for The Town Hall. He also conceived and produces both Broadway Unplugged and The Nightlife Awards at The Town Hall, and most recently began his 10th year as host of The Town Hall Feature Film Seminar Series. Scott and his wife Barbara are authors (47 books, including The Encyclopedia of Hollywood) and critics ('The Siegel Column' and 'The Two of Clubs')."

Town Hall's Summer Broadway Festival, a new series created and hosted by Siegel, is scheduled for July. The event will feature operetta, rising stars, and an array of Broadway music and dance styles. Broadway by the Year is made possible, in part, by a generous gift from The Edythe Kenner Foundation.

Limited tickets are still available at $45 and $40 by calling 212-307-4100, through www.ticketmaster.com, or from the Town Hall Box Office, 123 West 43rd Street, 212-840-2824, or online at www.the-townhall-nyc.org.
