Birdland Presents Master Class With Jane Monheit, 2/19

Birdland today announced a second opportunity to receive one-on-one vocal instruction in a master class setting with acclaimed jazz vocalist and multiple Grammy nominee Jane Monheit.

A limited number of ten singers can purchase $50 advance tickets reserving a fifteen-minute time slot to work one-on-one with Jane and her long-time piano accompanist Michael Kanan on the Birdland stage.

Instructional topics may include vocal technique, song interpretation and anything else Jane and the participating vocalists wish to explore. *Participating singers should prepare one song and bring a clear lead sheet for the pianist to read. 

$25 audience tickets are also available for those who wish to watch, listen and learn from the participating singers' experiences. Audience questions are encouraged.
