BOSTON, September 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/

BioCatch, the global leader in Cognitive Biometrics and authentication solutions, announced today that its 'Art of Fraud' gallery, the world's first online exhibit displaying paintings generated by actual malware attacks on banking sites, is now open to the general public.

The paintings in the gallery were captured using BioCatch's Cognitive Biometrics platform when analyzing user behavior to detect online banking fraud. Each painting in the exhibit depicts the movement of an actual malware attack that occurred. They also provide attack details such as date, location and potential loss.

"We are very excited to share our findings in the 'Art of Fraud' exhibit so that the public can, for the first time, visualize and understand the 'behind the scenes' mechanism of online banking fraud," said Benny Rosenbaum, CEO of BioCatch. "BioCatch consistently works to stay ahead of the game in combating fraud. With each attempted malware attack spotted by BioCatch Cognitive Biometrics technology, we are able to derive valuable information that helps us identify and defend against new threats, providing the most sophisticated and up-to-date protection for our customers."

The 'Art of Fraud' exhibit displays both the malware's general movements across the screen, movements made while conducting money transfers, and the reactions to BioCatch's Invisible Challenges TM.
