On Sunday, February 12, 2006, the off-Broadway musical Bingo will conclude its run at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street). At that time, Bingo will have played 19 previews and 92 regular performances. Directed by Thomas Caruso (Resident Dir., Mamma Mia), Bingo features a book by Michael Heitzman and Ilene Reid, and music and lyrics by Heitzman, Reid and David Holcenberg.

Bingo officially opened on Monday, November 7, 2005; preview performances began on Monday, October 24, 2005. A national tour of Bingo is now being planned for 2007-2008, under the auspices of off-Broadway Booking. In addition, the original off-Broadway cast recording of Bingo will be available this March through Amazon.com.

Bingo features a cast that includes Tony Award-nominee Liz Larsen (The Most Happy Fella) as Honey, Liz McCartney (Mamma Mia!) as Vern, Klea Blackhurst as Bernice/Marilyn, Chevi Colton (Cabaret) as Minnie, Janet Metz (Fiddler on the Roof) as Patsy, Patrick Ryan Sullivan (42nd Street) as Sam/Frank and Jessica Snow-Wilson (Good Vibrations) as Alison.

In this interactive musical comedy, "the audience gets to join in the Bingo games at Hamerin County's St. Luke's Church basement, where they will meet – among others – Vern, Honey and Patsy, three pals that have driven through a terrible thunderstorm in the name of their weekly obsession. In between the number calling, strange rituals and fierce competitions, love blossoms and estranged friends reunite, sending everyone home a winner," according to press notes.

With choreography by Lisa Stevens, Bingo features scenic design by Eric Renschler, costume design by Carol Brys, lighting design by John Viesta and sound design by Lewis Mead. The show features musical supervision and orchestrations by Steven Bishop.

Bingo plays Saturday matinees at 2 p.m., Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m. Tickets are $65 and are available by calling Telecharge.com at (212) 239-6200, or in-person at the St. Luke's Theatre Box Office (opens at noon daily, except Thursdays).
