Billy Kelly's Family Comedy Show has added spring dates at Manhattan's People's Improv Theater on Saturday, April 22nd, and Saturday, May 6th. These will be the 4th & 5th shows in his monthly residency there.
Billy likes to think of his shows as comedy toast with the crust cut off - if that crust was made of swear words and jokes about dating. So basically there is none of that stuff - just good clean laughs and absurd fun that people of all ages can enjoy together. Because the world needs more of that sort of thing!
Billy Kelly has been on the scene as a family musician for many years, which earned him a Grammy nomination last year and many rave reviews, including a piece on NPR's All Things Considered.
For his latest endeavor, Billy has been performing crowd-pleasing stand-up comedy shows for families in hope of starting a new way for kids and parents to get out and share some laughs together. Billy's comedy is meant for the 8-and-up crowd.
