Anything Goes star Colin Donnell begins a leave of absence from the show today, January 24, to perform in Merrily We Roll Along at Encores! Bill English will assume the role of "Billy Crocker" tonight thru Sunday, February 19th. Colin Donnell will return to the show on Tuesday, February 21st.

Merrily We Roll Along is the first production of the New York City Center's Encores! season. Merrily We Roll Along, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth, will be directed by James Lapine with music direction by Rob Berman and musical staging by Dan Knechtges. Merrily has been extended for a two-week run and will play for 15 performances, February 8–19, 2012, at New York City Center, 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues.

Joining Donnell are Celia Keenan-Bolger, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Elizabeth Stanley, Betsy Wolfe, Adam Grupper and Zachary Unger, with Whit Baldwin, Rachel Coloff, Ben Crawford, Joshua Dela Cruz, Bernard Dotson, Colleen Fitzpatrick, Marja Harmon, Leah Horowitz, Mylinda Hull, Michael X. Martin, Sean McKnight, Kenita R. Miller, Patricia Noonan, Andrew Samonsky, Pearl Sun, Charlie Sutton, Jessica Vosk, Karl Warden and Michael Winther.

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced a new block of tickets now on-sale through September 9th, 2012. Anything Goes currently stars 2011 Tony® Award winner Sutton Foster as "Reno Sweeney" and Tony and Academy® Award winner Joel Grey as "Moonface Martin," and is directed and choreographed by 2011 Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall. Casting for May 1st - September 9th will be announced shortly.

Anything Goes play through Sunday, September 9th, 2012 on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. The cast currently features John McMartin as "Elisha Whitney", Julie Halston as "Evangeline Harcourt," Erin Mackey as "Hope Harcourt," Robert Petkoff as "Lord Evelyn Oakleigh,"Jessica Stone as "Erma," Walter Charles as "Captain," Robert Creighton as "Purser," Andrew Cao as "Luke," and Raymond J. Lee as "John."Additional cast members include Clyde Alves, Ward Billeisen, Daniel J. Edwards, Kearran Giovanni, Justin Greer, Derek Hanson, Tari Kelly, Michelle Loucadoux, Shina Ann Morris, Linda Mugleston, Kevin Munhall, Mary Michael Patterson, Hayley Podschun, Brandon Rubendall, William Ryall, Jennifer Savelli, Vanessa Sonon, Kristen Beth Williams.

The show features music & lyrics by Cole Porter; original book by P.G. Wodehouse & Guy Bolton and Howard Lindsay & Russel Crouse; New book by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman.

Bill English (Billy Crocker) returns to Broadway after appearing in Roundabout's Twentieth Century. Other credits include The Full Monty (NSMT), The Shaggs (NYMF), Dracula (Triad Stage), The Times (Sonnet Rep), The Man Who Came to Dinner (ACC). Film/Television: "Cavemen", Outnumbered, "Melrose Place" and lots of life-enriching tv commercials. Training: BFA, UNCSA. He is honored to be a part of this amazing company.
