Titled Meanwhile...Suddenly, and Then, the biennale is being held at five different venues: La Sucrière, macLYON the Bullukian Foundation, Saint-Just Church, and a former boiler plant, La Chaufferie de l'Antiquaille.Veduta is the Biennale platform dedicated to amateur projects. Veduta 2013 is building a network of over 100 houses - found, or built for the occasion - to host artist residencies, collections from macLYON, artworks from the international exhibition and amateur narratives...that tell multiple stories. The houses include 60 private apartments that will accommodate 60 pieces from the international exhibition.Résonance is the platform with 200 projects - exhibitions, performances, residencies - spread across the Rhône-Alpes region. Résonance is coordinated by the Biennale, but is staged by artist collectives, associations, galleries, art centres, and institutions.
