If you happened to be visiting Off-Broadway's Sullivan Street Theatre in 1994 to see the decades-old production of THE FANTASTICKS you may have been unaware that within ten years the young soprano you saw playing Luisa would be a major Broadway star.

Four years later, Lincoln Center audiences were probably more aware of the star potential of the performer playing the perky waitress who made a one-woman production out of reciting the day's specials in A NEW BRAIN. In between there was a Theatre World Award-winning Broadway debut in STEEL PIER.

There was no stopping Kristin Chenoweth, after winning a Tony Award as Sally in YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN. Her knack for quirky comedy matched with soaring vocals have contributed knockout performances in WICKED, THE APPLE TREE, PROMISES, PROMISES and ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY.

Charitybuzz's new online auction offers an opportunity for two people to meet Kristin Chenoweth on the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard as she performs in this summer's "Broadway on the Vineyard" concert series.

The package includes two tickets for her August 14th concert, plus a meet and greet and dinner for two at the romantic Vineyard restaurant, Atria. The winning bidder will also receive tickets to the series' August 22nd concert with Audra McDonald and Will Swenson, and the September 2nd show starring Patti LuPone. (Meet and greets are not included.)

The winning bid will support Vineyard Arts Project, a performing arts residency space and an incubator for the creation of new work in dance and theatre. Located on the island of Martha's Vineyard, Vineyard Arts Project provides visiting artists with the necessary time and rehearsal space to focus solely on the development of their new work. Past artists include Dance Theatre of Harlem, James Lapine, Benjamin Millepied and PigPen Theatre Company. Visit vineyardartsproject.org.
