Come join in worship with other devotees of America's favorite shiny headed Oscar nominee! With a combination of vibrant song and prayer, spontaneous testimonials and a creepy (but kissable) mannequin head, Tucci Disciples Natasha Vaynblat, Jessie Jolles and Katie Hartman, lead the absurdly reverent service.
Stanley has touched us all. That promotion at work? That was Tucci rewarding you for all your hard work. When your hamster died? That was Tucci helping you learn hard life lessons. When there was only one pair of footsteps in the sand? That was Tucci carrying you. Between select hymns, Tucci trivia and reading from the book of award acceptance speeches, audience members will be encouraged to jump up and testify with their own "Touched by Tucci" moment." With special guests Dan Chamberlain (The Tonight Show, Broad City, Above Average) and Sachi Ezra (The Rundown, Seriously.tv).
___ Is Our God is a bi-monthly comedy variety worship service that changes its idol every show. Upcoming shows might idolize reality star turned fashion mogul Lauren Conrad, modern mystical legend Raven-Symoné, or that freaky cartoon bear family from the Charmin toilet paper commercials.
Natasha Vaynblat is a New York-based actor, writer and improviser. She is currently a Made in NY WGA Fellow. She's written for MTV's Guy Code vs Girl Code and was a co-creator of the IFC web series "Laurie" and "Red Autumn" and the star of Above Average's "Katie, A Lady." Jessie performs at the Upright Citizens Brigade and hosts a monthly show at the QED called "No Such Thing As Love" with Claire Burns. Jessie is single and tries not to mention it as much as she does.
Katie Hartman is an actor and comedian living in NYC. Her sketch duo, Skinny Bitch Jesus Meeting, has been a critic's picks in Time Out New York, Washington Post, and Charleston City Paper. Their web series "Made To Order" (madetoorderseries.com) was listed as one of "6 Brilliant Web Series" by Marie Claire.
