On September 16th, Buckley will take the stage of the Pike Performing Arts Center in Indianapolis, IN. Following, that performance, she will head to San Luis Obispo, CA for a concert at the Christopher Cohan Performing Arts Center on September 23rd. On September 30th, she will perform at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco.Buckley has been a top Broadway leading lady for over 3 decades. The actress was seen on Broadway in 1776 and Pippin before winning the 1983 Best Featured Actress in a Musical Tony for her performance as Grizabella in Cats. Other Broadway credits include Song and Dance (replacing Bernadette Peters), The Mystery of Edwin Drood, the ill-fated Carrie, Sunset Boulevard and Triumph of Love. She also performed Sunset Boulevard in London, winning an Olivier for her Norma Desmond; she had previously appeared in the West End production of Promises, Promises. Buckley was also featured in William Finn's Elegies: A Song Cycle at Lincoln Center; the performance made it to CD. She recently returned to the role of Norma Desmond for a non-musical reading of the Sunset Boulevard screenplay at the Hollywood Bowl.
