Entertainment legend Bette Midler and Kim Kardashian have been involved in a Twitter war since Monday, when Midler tweeted about the reality star's nude SELFIE post on Instagram. She joked, "If Kim wants us to see a part of her we've never seen, she's gonna have to swallow the camera."

The 35-year-old star of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" responded harshly, posting: "Hey @BetteMidler I know it's past your bedtime but if you're still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding"

Wednesday night, Midler responded once again, sharing a SELFIE of herself hiding behind a cardboard sign (at left) which read: "Like Kim ...put your SELFIE to work for a good cause. Join me at CrowdRise.com #StagesForSuccess." The star of stage and screen also vowed to match any donations two to one.

This was not the first time Midler took aim at Kardashian. Back in March of 2015, she appeared on JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE to read the most ridiculous tweets of the reality star to music. Check it out below:

Midler finished her Broadway run of I'LL EAT YOU LAST last spring, starring as the legendary Hollywood agent Mengers in her first Broadway appearance in almost 40 years. Written by John Logan, I'LL EAT YOU LAST was directed on Broadway by Joe Mantello.

Midler began her legendary career as an entertainer in 1965, in New York, where she developed the trademark act that would make her one of the most renowned talents of her generation. Her debut album, 1972's The Divine Miss M set her on the path that has led her to earn Grammys, Emmys, Golden Globes and Academy Award nominations in a career that has spanned over 40 years. She has toured the world, sold millions of albums, published two books and appeared in over two dozen films, including The Rose, Beaches, Ruthless People, Hocus Pocus, First Wives Club and For The Boys.
