Looks like Frankie Valli should thank Clint Eastwood for returning him to the top of the charts! While the big screen adaptation of the Broadway musical JERSEY BOYS may not have gone over well at the weekend box office this weekend, "The Very Best of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons" CD is now enjoying the No. 1 spot on Amazon this week. The soundtrack to the full length film 'Jersey Boys' comes in at No. 4.

On iTunes, Frankie's hits are currently at No. 15, with the "Jersey Boys" soundtrack trailing far behind at No. 48.

Clint Eastwood's Jersey Boys film, which opened in nearly 3,000 theaters over the weekend, took in a disappointing $13.5M for Warner Bros. performing even worse than expected. The movie, based on the hit Tony Award winning Broadway musical skewed towards a much older audience than expected and opened in the No. 4 spot. The studio now faces criticism over its decision to debut the film during the summer months. The film was produced with a budget of approximately $38M.
