The Rolling Stones may not be touring this year to mark their 50th Anniversary, but The Iridium's got you covered with 6 nights of Stones guitarist Mick Taylor. This NYC run will launch the club's brand new "Guitar World & The Iridium Present" monthly series. Other highlights of May include NY Yankee-turned-jazz guitarist Bernie Williams, Zappa alumni the GrandMothers of Invention, and frequent Jackson Browne-collaborator David Lindley, plus Bela Fleck bassist Victor Wooten June 2-3. Before May hits, be sure to check out IridiumLive, the club's new record label devoted to audiophile live recordings, which just launched this week with 'A Jazz Tribute to Les,' featuring Wilco's Nels Cline, Stanley Jordan, Bucky Pizzarelli, and Jane Monheit.

5/3-4: The GrandMothers of InventionThe GrandMothers of Invention features Zappa alumni Napolean Murphy Brock on vocals, Tom Fowler on bass, and Don Preston on keyboard, joined by guitarist Miroslav Tadic and drummer Christopher Garcia. They've performed the music of Frank Zappa at festivals around the world from Frankfurt Jazz to Winnipeg Folk and nearly everywhere in between.

5/5-6: Bernie WilliamsIn his 16 year career patrolling centerfield for the New York Yankees, Bernie Williams was a four-time World Series Champion and a five-time All Star, but all the while he harbored a not-so-secret passion for the guitar. His most recent album, 'Moving Forward,' features guest appearances by Bruce Springsteen, Jon Secada, and Dave Koz. It debuted at #2 on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz chart, spawned two consecutive Billboard #1 singles, and was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Album.

5/9-14: Mick Taylor - Legendary Rolling Stones guitarist and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Mick Taylor will make a rare NYC appearance for a week of shows at The Iridium. The final night of the run (5/14) will mark the launch of "Guitar World & The Iridium Present," a new monthly series highlighting the world's best guitarists performing with The Les Paul Trio.

5/16: David Lindley - Multi-instrumentalist David Lindley performs music that redefines the word 'eclectic.' Lindley, well-known for his many years as the featured accompanist with Jackson Browne and leader of his own band El Rayo-X, has long championed the concept of world music. Lindley effortlessly combines American folk, blues, and bluegrass traditions with elements from African, Arabic, Asian, Celtic, Malagasy, and Turkish musical sources.

5/24-27: The Oz Noy Trio feat. Will Lee, and Dave Weckl - For his accomplishments as a trend-setting guitarist, Oz has won the highly acclaimed Guitar Player magazine readers polls for "Best Guitar Riff on a Record" and "Best New Talent." He's performed, toured and recorded with everyone from Warren Haynes and Allen Toussaint to Cyndi Lauper and Harry Belafonte.

6/2-3: Victor Wooten - Known for his solo recordings and tours, and as a member of the Grammy-winning supergroup, Béla Fleck & The Flecktones, Wooten has won most every major award given to a bass guitarist. He was voted Bassist of the year by Bass Player Magazine three times and is the only person to have won the award more than once.
