More than 50 beloved and rising stars of stage and screen--including 19 Tony Award winners--will sign autographs and accommodate photo ops on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at the 27th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction (#bwayflea), presented by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction is the biggest day of the year for Broadway fans; this year's festive outdoor market promises a day filled with unique showbiz treasures up for auction. Free and open to the public, the annual event takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the heart of the theater district, along West 44th Street (between Broadway and Eighth Avenue) and in Shubert Alley.

One of the most popular stops at Broadway's "one-day sale" is the Autograph Table & Photo Booth. Fans have the opportunity to get autographs and pose for pictures with their favorite stars from Broadway and Off-Broadway in exchange for donations to Broadway Cares.

The celebrities in this year's line-up have collectively won 27 Tony Awards and received 74 Tony nominations. Among those scheduled to appear are Tony winners Len Cariou, Gabriel Ebert, Harriet Harris, Shuler Hensley, Cherry Jones, Aaron Lazar, Judith Light, Debra Monk, Donna Murphy, Bebe Neuwirth, Bernadette Peters, Billy Porter, Faith Prince and Alice Ripley, as well as other Broadway favorites including Laura Benanti, Robert Cuccioli, Santino Fontana, Jeremy Jordan, Jan Maxwell, Lindsay Mendez, Julia Murney, Rory O'Malley, Laura Osnes, Christopher Sieber, Matthew James Thomas, Patrick Wilson and more. (Appearances subject to change. For an up-to-date list, visit broadwaycares.org.)

Current Broadway shows that are scheduled to be represented at the Autograph Table & Photo Booth include "Annie," "Big Fish," "Chicago," "Cinderella," "First Date," "The Glass Menagerie," "Kinky Boots," "Mamma Mia!," "Matilda The Musical," "Motown: The Musical," "Newsies," "Pippin," "Rock of Ages,"
"Soul Doctor," "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" and "Wicked."

The Grand Auction, which includes a series of silent auctions throughout the day culminating in an exciting live auction, features dozens of fascinating lots, including walk-on appearances in Broadway's biggest hits; lunches with Tony Award winners; VIP tickets to Broadway opening nights and musical phrases handwritten by Broadway's best composers and lyricists.

A new group of silent auction lots will be opened every half hour from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.; the live auction begins at 5 p.m.. Pre-bidding on silent and live auction lots is available at broadwaycares.org through 10 a.m. EST on September 21, the day before the Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction. For full details on all the items, go to broadwaycares.org.

Additional information on items for sale at the Broadway Flea Market; other packages to be offered at the Grand Auction and a complete schedule of the stars scheduled to appear at the Autograph Table & Photo Booth will be announced on broadwaycares.org, on Twitter twitter.com/BCEFA and on Facebook at facebook.com/BCEFA.

Last year, the Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction raised a record-breaking $681,892, bringing the event's 26-year total to $9,870,369.

The 27th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction is sponsored by The New York Times and United Airlines.
