Bernadette Peters Compilation CD Now Available in Stores

A new CD tribute to one of Broadway's brighest stars was released on December 26th.

The disc, entitled "Legends of Broadway - Bernadette Peters," features songs from shows that starred the two-time Tony Award-winner.  It was released by Sony Classics.

A two-time Tony-winner for Song and Dance and Annie Get Your Gun, Peters has received Tony nominations for her performances in the 1972 revival of On the Town, Mack and Mabel, Sunday in the Park with George, The Goodbye Girl and the 2003 revival of Gypsy. She also originated the role of the Witch in Into the Woods, and has appeared in such films as Slaves of New York, Alice, The Jerk and It Runs in the Family. She also appeared in the Carnegie Hall staged concert production of Anyone Can Whistle.  Her latest recording, "Sondheim Etc., Etc.--Bernadette Peters Live at Carnegie Hall (The Rest of It)"--is currently available in stores.
