Broadway Artists Alliance, the dynamic not-for-profit educational organization that is gaining a reputation for ensuring the future of great Broadway talent by bringing together Broadway artists and promising young performers announces their 2008/2009 series of monthly master classes. Each one-day master class is based on the theme of a current or recent Broadway show. A cast member from the original or current Broadway cast will lead a vocal performance or dance class in the morning, and a representative from the respective casting agency for each show will instruct an audition technique class in the afternoon.
Susan Blackwell will lead the October 12th
[title of show]-themed class.
Marty Thomas will lead the October 13th Xanadu class, and
Noah Weisberg will lead the
South Pacific class on October 19th along with associate choreographer
Joe Langworth. In addition,
Laura Benanti will return to Broadway Artists Alliance for the November 23rd
