Benanti, Colella, von Essen, Murney and Sieber in 12/19 Holiday Concert

On December 19th at 7pm, a coupla Broadway friends will be ringing in the season at Joe's Pub with a one-night-only concert of new holiday songs as well as invigorating takes on some of your favorite seasonal tuners. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be used to benefit God's Love We Deliver.

Miracle on Lafayette will feature performances by Laura Benanti (Nine), Christopher Sieber (Chicago) Max von Essen (Dance of the Vampires), Jenn Colella (Urban Cowboy), Julia Murney (The Wild Party), and Randy Redd (Parade). Also performing will be Natascia Diaz (Seussical) and Anne Runolfsson (Phantom of the Opera). The evening will be musically directed by Mark Hartman (Pippin, Children of Eden Concerts) and produced and directed by Jamie McGonnigal (Pippin, Snoopy and Children of Eden Concerts).

The mission of God's Love We Deliver is to improve the health and well-being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. GLWD prepares and delivers nutritious, high-quality meals to people who, because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves. GLWD also provides illness-specific nutrition education and counseling to clients, families, care providers and other service organizations. GLWD provides volunteer opportunities in their kitchen, with delivering meals, and in their offices for all people who wish to assist people living with serious illnesses. Their services are provided free of charge and they act out of a sense of responsibility to help those in need. They act out of a sense of urgency because hunger cannot wait. GLWD is committed to grow and change in response to their clients' changing needs.
