Multi-Academy Award-winning producer, writer, director and actor Ben Affleck discussed another of his current occupations, father to three kids, while singing a snippet of the FROZEN breakout smash hit "Let It Go" appearing on THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JIMMY FALLON this week.
Discussing his daughters' obsession with FROZEN and their lack of appreciation for his being cast as Batman in an upcoming franchise reboot, Affleck said, "If I was doing the sequel to FROZEN, I would be a hero."
Affleck adds, "My two older daughters could give a sh*t about Batman and so they love FROZEN and the indignity is so great that they've now passed that affection onto my son. He's always like, 'Papa, can I watch FROZEN?' And I'm like, 'No, dude, it's not on again!"
Affleck humorously continued, "So, I've been looking for different versions of FROZEN - like, little compressed versions; and, of course, Disney takes it off the web. Evidently, you did a bit on FROZEN with Idina Menzel, who has an incredible voice. Obviously, it's only two minutes, not the whole movie."
"So, I started showing that to my son and he loved it! He goes crazy for it. And, he wants me to sing along!"
Then, Affleck launched into a coy rendition of the tune and mimicked his son's admonishment to imbue it with more passion.
Musicals do require passion, after all!
