Bastille Adds Second Performance Date to Radio City Music Hall, 10/9 & 10

MSG Entertainment and The Bowery Presents announced today that, due to overwhelming demand, English rock band Bastille have added a second show at Radio City Music Hall on Friday, October 10, 2014 in addition to the previously announced show on October 9. Tickets for the newly added show go on sale on June 20th at 1:00PM EST.

The U.K. band is currently on their fourth American tour in less than a year, supporting their debut album, Bad Blood, which entered the albums chart at No. 1 in the U.K. and closed out 2013 as the biggest selling debut album and the biggest selling digital album of the year. Bad Blood has sold more than 800,000 units in the U.S., where it was released last fall. The band was named an MTV 2014 "Artist to Watch" and has received a BRIT Award (British Breakthrough Act) and a Woodie Award (Best Cover).

Bastille's multi-format smash hit "Pompeii" has been certified Triple Platinum by the RIAA and the accompanying video has more than 100 million views. The track was No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart for four consecutive weeks and topped the Adult Alternative Songs chart for two weeks. The follow-up single, "Bad Blood," is already a Top 5 hit at Alternative radio, and the third U.S. single, "Flaws," will be released this summer.

Tickets for the October 10th show go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 20 at 1:00PM EST and will be available through Ticketmaster Charge By Phone (1-866-858-0008) and all Ticketmaster Outlets. Tickets will also be available in person at MSG, Radio City Music Hall and the Beacon Theatre Box Offices on Saturday, June 21, 2014.
