First Friday! Bronx Beat at BPMM

This summer, discover traditional music of the Bronx's many cultures with Bronx Beat at Bartow-Pell. In July enjoy traditional Irish folk music with Mary Courtney, tour the mansion, and stroll the garden. Light refreshments offered. The free Bronx Seaside Trolley makes a continuous loop from the #6 Pelham Bay Park subway station to BPMM to City Island. Yoga in the Orangerie

Compost Bin Building Basics

10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Help build a customized three-bin wood and wire compost system for the museum while learning basic techniques for using hand and power tools and working with lumber and hardware. Paper Quilling Workshop

A new workshop on a delightful art form that has been around for centuries.
