Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum Hosts First Fridays! Begins May 6

Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum will present the Bardekova Ensemble for its First Friday! event on May 6.

The Bardekova Ensemble, which specializes in music for woodwind and string instruments, will perform the music of Haydn, Vivaldi, Mozart, and Salieri from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Museum will be open from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Visitors may tour the mansion, stroll the garden, and picnic outside, weather permitting.

Tickets are $8.00; $5.00 for seniors and students; and free for members. Light refreshments will be provided at no charge.

Free transportation is provided by the Bronx Seaside Trolley, which makes a continuous loop from the Bx29 bus stop at Pelham Bay Park (last stop on the #6 train) to the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum and to City Island. See www.bpmm.org for trolley schedule.

The Bardekova Ensemble was founded almost two decades ago by Ellen Bardekoff and specializes in music of the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary periods. Ensemble members include director Ellen Bardekoff, oboe; Richard Paratley, flute; Yasmine Tetenbaum, viola; and Natalia Galebsky, cello.
