Barneys Warehouse Sale Date Has Been Set

This is the first time the sale will be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion now that the Chelsea Co-op has closed. In the beginning of the year, Barneys' said that future sales would "turn heavily toward men's." Daniella Vitale, Barney's chief merchant and executive VP, explained: "The origin of the warehouse sale was as a men's sale. While men's tailored clothing is a little harder to sell, in some ways it's going back to the original concept."
