Barneys New York Teams Up with Connor Engraved Stationer

Barneys New York, the luxury specialty retailer, announced a joint venture with New York-based engraved stationer Connor. This unique collaboration will bring the elegant, elevated design standards of Connorincluding its personalization and bespoke customization capabilitiesto a digital platform.

The website and app will offer hundreds of Connor's hand-engraved card designs, which can be personalized and sent digitally via email and social media. Thank you cards, elegant invitations, birthday cards, photo cards, and custom stationery will all be available as well. The platform will have event management capabilities, which will allow users to manage guest lists and track RSVPs. In addition to the creation of digital stationery cards, the platform will allow for clients to design offline bespoke, engraved stationery.

"Almost all of our communication today, both personal and professional, is digital, yet there is no product which allows the correspondence to be more elevated," said Barneys COO Daniella Vitale. "Communicating via e-mail or through social media does not necessarily mean it is intended to be casual. This project with Connor fills a void and will allow our customer an opportunity to communicate quickly and elegantly."

Connor and Barneys New York's digital custom stationery, available on phones, tablets, and desktop computers, will be available in Summer 2015.
