Barneys New York, the luxury specialty retailer, announced the debut of its Fall 2013 women's designer campaign, All About Lou, featuring French model, actress and singer Lou Doillon. Shot by iconic photographers Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, "All About Lou" reveals in Doillon a creative spirit, talented musician and a modern style icon.

Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin have shot extensively for Harper's Bazaar, V Magazine, several international editions of Vogue, and many more. Though they have worked previously with Doillon, the Fall 2013 campaign is the photographer duo's first time working with Barneys New York.

Doillon is the daughter of French director Jacques Doillon and British actress and singer Jane Birkin, as well as the half-sister of actress and singer Charlotte Gainsbourg. After making her film debut at age six and later appearing in several films, Doillon released her debut album,Places, this summer on Verve Records, and was the recent winner of the French Grammy for Female Artist of the Year.

"Creating the fall campaign was an exceptional collaborative experience", said Barneys New York Creative Director Dennis Freedman. "We are very excited about the collective results from Inez & Vinoodh, Lou and all the other creative collaborators involved in this project."

"All About Lou" plays on the concept of alter egos using a marionette model of Lou created by set designer Shona Heath. Along with the print campaign, this concept also appears in a video shot by Inez and Vinoodh, featuring an animated version of Doillon by artist Jo Rattcliff.

In the Fall campaign, styled by Brandon Maxwell with makeup by Jeanine Lobell and tailoring by Malisa Bowman, Lou is seen wearing looks from Nina Ricci, Saint Laurent, The Row, Proenza Schouler, Balenciaga, Chloé, Dries van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Belstaff, Derek Lam, Dolce & Gabbana, Azzedine Alaïa, Fendi, Maison Martin Margiela, Thakoon, Narciso Rodriguez, Jil Sander, Prabal Gurung, Céline, Bottega Veneta, L'Wren Scott, Lanvin, Marni, Giorgio Armani, Givenchy, Cédric Charlier, Sacai, J. Mendel, Stella McCartney, Rick Owens and more.

The campaign will be prominently featured in the windows of Barneys' Madison Avenue flagship store. Working with Shona Heath, the Barneys New York visuals team brought elements from the shoot to the windows, including the moving marionette.

"All About Lou" will also be highlighted across multiple communications touch points including The Barneys' Fall 2013 mailer, the season's advertising campaign, Barneys' luxury editorial site "The Window," and on Barneys.com.

Additionally, Inez + Vinoodh will celebrate three new collaborations with a personal appearance at Barneys New York on September 7th; a new jewelry collection with Ten Thousand Things, a fragrance collaboration with Byredo, "1996," and the launch of their new book with Taschen and art directed by M/M Paris entitled "Pretty Much Everything."
