Barefoot Theatre Company will continue its bareNaked Reading Series (Molly Marinik, Program Director; Jennie West, Co-Producer) with a reading of Mando Alvarado's ON THE 5:31 directed by Jerry Ruiz on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 7:00pm.

The reading of RUBBLE is free, with extremely limited seating available. To inquire about admission please emailbarefootRSVP@aol.com.

Alvarado's play "Basilica" directed by Ruiz is set to be presented by Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre at the Cherry Lane Theatre beginning May 1st, 2013.

Directed by Jerry Ruiz, the reading of Mando Alvarado's ON THE 5:31 will feature a cast of Bernardo Cubria, Stephanie Janssen, and Rayne Levine.

The bareNaked Reading Series has thus far presented readings of Joe Pintauro's SNOW ORCHID, Mike Reiss' RUBBLE, Hilary Bettis' ALLIGATOR in New York City, and A COLLECTION OF SHORT PLAYS including works by Israel Horovitz, Tyler Pascett, Michael Reyes, Danelle Eliav, Jennifer Skura and Kristina Poe in Los Angeles.

In 1999, Barefoot Theatre Company (Producing Artistic Director, Francisco Solorzano) was founded by a multicultural group of artists determined to produce vital, thought-provoking works, both new and existing. We embrace the importance of the collaborative process, nurture our ensemble commitment, and continue to learn from the younger generations we mentor. Barefoot Theatre Company's most recent collaborations include the Off Broadway Revival of Pintauro's RAFT OF THE MEDUSA as well as a workshop of the new play, F**KING VIGWAN (OR SWAG) by Pulitzer Prize nominee Kristoffer Diaz both at the legendary Cherry Lane Theatre.

All readings will be held at "The Loft" (East 3RD Productions) 684 Broadway, #5W - corner of Broadway and East 3rd Street. Admission is free with a confirmed RSVP, however seating is limited.
