After sold-out performances to audiences in Los Angeles and New York, the long-anticipated studio album of bare has arrived with proceeds to benefit The Trevor Project. Packaged in a three-disc set, presented here on the two CDs contain the complete 37 songs from bare. With an all-star cast starring Matt Doyle, James Synder, Jenna Leigh Green, and Anna Rose, the musical talents feature an ensemble of 16 singers and 15 musicians. This completely sung through alternative rock/pop opera evokes the passion, trials and tribulations of Peter and Jason, who must hide their clandestine romantic relationship during senior year at Catholic boarding school while finding out how it affects their friendships and the people around them. bare is a completely original story, not based on any previously written material.
The multi-media third disc, "Navigate This Maze," documents the making of the album, including interviews with the performers and producers, along with footage from the studio recording sessions. It also celebrates the history of the show, with footage from 2000 to present day including interviews with the creators, producers, and performers from both the Los Angeles and New York City productions.
