Baratunde Thurston, Pilot Writing, Personal Finance Class And More Coming Up At QED!

QED is the place to be this February with shows and classes we're super psyched about! Here's The Thing, our newest stand up showcase, will challenge NYC's funniest comics to get through their sets without using cliched phrases such as "just me?" or "here's the thing," otherwise they're reprimanded by taking a drink. Will any comic walk away unscathed? Probably not.
Myq Kaplan will also return to host his stand up showcase, featuring Baratunde Thurston (The Daily Show with Trevor Noah) and more great comedians and beatboxers. And fans of stand up won't want to miss our house showcase, QED Presents, which will feature Tim Dillon and Joe List, both of whom have half hour Comedy Central specials.
For classes, we're looking forward to Write That Fu*king Pilot, a popular workshop that will show you the basics of crafting your very own television pilot, and Get Your $hit Together, a class that will show you how to manage your finances.
