Carole Lonner's The Kids Left, The Dog Died, Now What?, the original musical celebrating Baby Boomers, makes its NYMF debut beginning September 25 at TBG Theatre (312 West 36th).

"There are 78-million Baby Boomers in America. This musical is about 20 of them," declare press notes, "As introduced on 'The Today Show,' The Kids Left, The Dog Died, Now What? follows a group of Baby Boomers valiantly struggling with the effects of gravity on their bodies, divorce on their hard-won bank accounts, grandchildren on their self-images and the dating scene on their egos. Mid-life foreplay is the final frontier!"

At age 50, when the kids left and the dog died, Carole Lonner (book, lyrics & music) decided to go back to school to study music and later began composing music and constructing lyrics.  The Kids Left, The Dog Died, Now What? is her second musical; the first Comin' of Age was equity-produced by the Attic Theatre in Detroit.

The cast includes Ron Bagden, Tiana Checchia, Mary Jo McConnell, Marsha Merchant and Michael Shelle.

Performances are: Tuesday September 25 at 8PM; Wednesday September 26 at 1PM; Saturday September 29 at 8PM; Tuesday October 2 at 8PM; Wednesday October 3 at 1PM; and Sunday October 7 at 1PM.

TBG Theatre is located at 312 West 36th Street (between 8th & 9th Avenues). For tickets call 212-352-3101 or visit www.nymf.org.
