BY Experience to Bring Stratford Festival Selections to Cinemas in 2015

BY Experience has partnered with the renowned Stratford Festival to present Stratford Festival HD, a stage to screen event series bringing the best of Shakespeare from North America's leading classical theatre company to cinema audiences around the world. Tickets for the first three productions of this series - King Lear (February 25), King John (April 8) and Antony and Cleopatra (May 21) - will go on sale Friday, December 12. The three HD cinema events kick off a massive initiative by the Stratford Festival to capture all of Shakespeare's plays over the next 10 years, beginning with the production of King Lear that "unquestionably catapults Colm Feore into the ranks of the world's greatest living actors" (Toronto Star). The Stratford Festival's critically acclaimed productions of King John and Antony and Cleopatra will round out the first installment of the Stratford Festival HD series that will ultimately bring the complete works of William Shakespeare to audiences around the world.

BY Experience is the "live cinema event powerhouse" (Variety) that brings the highest quality international cultural events, as Worldwide HD Distribution Representative, The Met: Live in HD series, International (ex-UK) Distribution Representative, the U.K.'s National Theatre Live series, and North American Distributor Bolshoi Ballet cinema series, to over 2,000 cinema and performing arts centers in over 60 countries around the world.

Audiences will witness the cinematic debut of Stratford Festival HD at more than 350 screens throughout the U.S. through Fathom Events' exclusive Digital Broadcast Network. Stratford Festival HD will play in multiplexes in cities such as Los Angeles (CA), Chicago (IL) and Philadelphia (PA) as well as independent movie houses and performing arts centers in cities such as Amherst (MA), Providence (RI) and Millerton (NY).

In Canada, the event will be distributed by Cineplex Entertainment's Front Row Centre Events, which specializes in bringing world-class events and performances to the big screen. Cinema screenings will be followed by a broadcast window on CBC-TV, and then digital and on-demand release.
