Earlier this month, The New York Pops marked its 32nd birthday with a grand gala evening celebrating the work of Music Honorees Kathleen Marshall and Rob Marshall and Corporate Honoree Carrie and Ted Pryor, Greenwich Harbor Partners. The event began with a concert at Carnegie Hall, featuring a spectacular lineup of guest artists under the baton of Music Director Steven Reineke. The performance highlighted the Marshalls' work on stage and screen. Queen Latifahjoined Broadway stars Laura Benanti, Alan Cumming, Sutton Foster, Victor Garber, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Bebe Neuwirth, Kelli O'Hara, Margo Seibert, James Snyder, and Rachel York.

The gala concert also featured students from The New York Pops' Kids On Stage program in their Carnegie Halldebuts performing alongside the orchestra musicians, Children of Ronald McDonald House New York, and Camp Broadway Kids, led by Artistic Director Tony Parise and Music DirectorChristine Riley. Following the concert, a black tie dinner dance was held at the elegant Mandarin Oriental New York.
