TV: The Kid Critics Join the Class at Broadway's SCHOOL OF ROCK!

It's not hard to stumble across an excess of reviews for any given Broadway show these days, but there is a group of theatregoers that is wildly underrepresented when it comes to opinions on Broadway- kids! BroadwayWorld is excited to continue our new series, KID CRITICS, which gives parents and children alike a kid's perspective on Broadway's hottest shows.

We are continuing the series with Tai (9), Isabella (11), and Charles (8), who just stopped by the Winter Garden Theatre to check out SCHOOL OF ROCK. Curious of what they thought about the show? Find out below!

Based on the smash hit 2003 film of the same title, School of Rock: THE MUSICAL, with music from the movie, as well as an original score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater, a book by Julian Fellowes and direction by Laurence Connor, made its World Premiere on Broadway on December 6, at the Winter Garden Theatre. SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICAL follows Dewey Finn, a failed wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. Completely disinterested in academic work, Dewey decides to create his own curriculum, turning his class into a guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing rock band.
