Broadway's LEND ME A TENOR, currently playing at The Music Box Theatre on Broadway, dedicated a special 8:00pm performance on June 27, 2010 to The Actors Fund, granting proceeds to the fund in support of their programs and services. BroadwayWorld brings you Tony Shalhoub's curtain speech below.

The Actor's Fund is a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment. The Fund is a safety net, providing programs and services for those who are in need, crisis or transition. Social services programs include Entertainment Assistance Program, Seniors and Disabled, HIV/AIDS Initiative, The Dancers Resource, and Howel Emergency Life Project, among others. Ken Ludwig's comedy LEND ME A TENOR stars Anthony LaPaglia, Tony Shalhoub, Justin Bartha, Brooke Adams, Mary Catherine Garrison, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Jay Klaitz, and Jan Maxwell, and is directed by Stanley Tucci. LEND ME A TENOR is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).

LEND ME A TENOR will play its last performance on August 15th.

It plays the following schedule: Tue at 7, Wed-Sat at 8, Wed & Sat at 2, Sun at 3.
